Ian Billinghurst BV Sc Hons BSc Agr Dip Ed, received his veterinary science degree from Sydney University, Australia, in 1976. Dr Billinghurst is a pioneer in evolutionary nutrition for pets and published his first of many books “Give Your Dog a Bone” in 1993, later coining the term “Biologically Appropriate Raw [or Real] Food.” Since retiring from his busy small animal practice, Dr Billinghurst has continued with his tireless efforts to promote and consult on evolutionary nutrition. In 2016 he published a groundbreaking new book about cancer, “Pointing The Bone At Cancer.” Dr Billinghurst is now Senior Advisor of gussysgut.com.
